It seems the power button on my desire has given up on me, I may be sending it back under warranty after unrooting to meet their requirements for repair. To do that though I need to know if I can turn the phone on without using the power button, I've seen something on an app that says if I remove and then insert the battery while it's charging the phone will turn on, does anyone know if this works as I don't want to turn the phone off to try it just yet?
