Help power saving mode

On my S5. The power saving mode does not save any more power whether its on or off. The use age of my phone is the same. Samsung says its a app. I'm confused, power saving mode is supposed to make the battery last longer. So why do they blame it on a app?

Are you using the "Ultra Power Save" or Just the "Power Saving"

You should obviously tell a huge difference with Ultra. I've noticed that the only way Power saving really saves is if you're also in grayscale mode. Works pretty well actually.

There are many other things you can do to help save battery life in the device like changing the animation scales in Developer mode, limiting the number of background devices. YouTube has a bunch of videos I used to make small adjustments on my phone to get the most out of my battery!
