So I thought I heard something that you should power down your smartphone each night. Is this something I should be doing? And is it just that---turning it off and then back on?
It is your choice. If the phone is running fine, then leave it on. I leave mine on unless it requires rebooting such as creating a backup before I start messing with the phone.
On my BB i used to have the battery pull App..now I just reboot when the PHONE feels like it. I noticed every so often it just reboots itself. I'd say maybe once every other week or so...
