pre-installed apps management

Hello all!

So pre installed apps on our AEPTs. Apps such as zinio reader as an example, there's one available via the market, but when the market instance is installed there are 2 instances of the reader on our apps, so how does the ones pre-installed get updated? only via the massive OTAs? If so then is the chain of support:

me -> zinio -> asus -> me?

rather than:

me -> zinio -> me (via market) ?

any clarification would be of great help

cheers,
Eddie

You could "root" and uninstall any pre-installed apps.

I like "Astro File Manager", you can backup apps that are installed. I also like the "Appbrain" website/app, you can surf for apps, mark them for download, then it keeps a list of everything installed or pending install on the website/app.
