Yeah, I noticed that they stopped the TV offer today - to be fair to them, they did say when I was on the phone, that they`d been given notice that the offer was about to end, so seems they werent lying to me just to get a sale, which is good.
Maybe its just me, but I would have thought they`d have more than just 3000 pre-orders by now.

Well as usual they have done no advertising. I saw the first advert for a HTC M8 last night but I have seen the S5 all over the place so amazing they have got 3000 orders. Don't forget all the other carriers will have stock also. Gutted about the TV it would have made me change. I am sim free at the moment and out of contract on T mobile. Unlimited everything but on 3g. To be honest I live in the sticks so 4g is a no any way.
Just got an email to say my camera is on the way. The tablet is still showing for release tomorrow so will let you know if it comes or I get an e-mail to say otherwise. I will keep it for as few days and then return it. It will not bee to long until the one from Sony mobile turns up fingers crossed.
Sony Full site rang me today and I nearly ordered the tablet from them. However when I asked about delivery they said mid April. They have the 16gb LTE in stock for immediate dispatch but I want the 32gb wifi. So if you can put up with 16gb get that on 30 day approval to kill some time until your phone arrives.

Just opened the Z2 Tablet up. Wow it looks and feels so good. I have an I pad and this thing makes that look like a fat kid. Has been downloading loads of updates.
Not too many apps. Don't know if this is a good thing or not. The Music Unlimited interface is lovely (if you subscribe I do).
I will give you an update after the weekend if I get a good play with it. I have again ordered from the Sony store. The one I have is from Amazon and will be getting returned as you get a free dock from Sony.
It has haptic feedback (I've missed this on a tablet) and tap to wake.
If the phone is as well built as the tablet happy days. If you have a PS4 you will feel at home.

Just had a look and it looks like the offer has been stopped on both sites. (Sony main and Sony mobile). Sony Mobile sent an e-mail last week to say shipping on the 14th and given a code for

I take it you're in the US. I'm on T-Mobile as well and was curious if you found anything about a US release. I haven't found much of anything and while I'm willing to buy an international model and ship it here, it's an extra hoop I'd rather not have to jump through. I definitely want to upgrade from my M7 to the Z2.
Some reviews are starting to be released.
Mostly positive, however talk of build quality issues and overheating when recording 4K video is a put off.
I've not read anything suggesting devices like the Galaxy S5 or Note 3 are overheating, if they can't fix the overheating they might as well remove 4k video recording.
Also comments about the interface being sluggish, looks like Sony still have some work to do which is a shame.

I'm pretty sure the developer community will pick up sonys slack and as for 4k recording, I really don't see why manufacturers are pushing it so hard right now. Storage capacity and equipment compatibility isn't really there yet.
I'm not blaming people for buying a phone for those features, just my opinion on those drawbacks.
