Personally I don't use predictive text but I know that there have been complaints about this problem in the past and it seems that it may have something to do with the stock keyboard. Have you tried using a different keyboard? That helped the others who were having problems. Perfect Keyboard has a free app in the Play Store. Give that a try and see if you get better results and let us know what happens.
