Root Premia 4G M931 - Remove/Delete Bloatware/Crapware

I am not sure if this if this idea is specific to this phone or not. This is a starting point for me in this process.

Is there a good guide for Removing/Deleting as much Bloatware/Crapware [safely] as possible? [In my example, it's MetroPCS] Along the way, I have heard about "Freeze" with Titanium Backup. But, I have yet to see a good guide?

For starters, I would just like to Remove/Delete/Disable "My Extras". It serves no purpose. I tried "All-In-One Toolbox (20 Tools)"'s "Startup" tool to prevent it from "starting" up. It still seems to start.

Just pay the few bucks for titanium backup. It's soooooo worth it. You can backup and freeze apps. It will let you freeze or uninstall *any* app. Don't freeze any system apps, but metro specific ones are fine.

Titanium backup is so easy a guide is unnecessary.

It gives you a list of apps installed on your phone. You click the app icon and it gives you a few options. Click freeze. It'll disable the app, but lets you reenable it from the same menu.
Of course this all requires root access.

So, "Titanium Backup", or TB, can "Freeze" app(s) safely? And, if after the "Freeze", the phone behaves, you can Delete/Remove the app(s)?

Yes you can uninstall them if your device do not act up after you freeze. This is a very safe way to get rid of bloatwares.

I'm telling you it's safe and effective.

[I'm one who just bricked my previous phone after only 2 weeks. Of course, it may not have been my fault. Who know?]

I think my question: What happens if your phone will not start normally after you make a change?

You would have to restore since you probably have gotten rid of a system file as your phone wouldn't start.

I remember now. What recovery options [if any] does TB provide in the case of problem in booting?

It would revert back to your last backup data. However, if you did not make any backup (especially system files), it would not be able to revert back.

I would like to get back to my example: Using TB to "Freeze" the MPCS app "My Extras".

TB has so many options and uses so many filters. Can someone give me some 1, 2, 3, etc. to "Freeze" this one app with TB? Once I get past this, then I can try to do more?
