check it out! they rock there, theres alot of very helpful people and dev's on there that are always online to help.
 
This is the expanded Myascend forum. A lot of helpful people. But they're a little elitist. When I had my Ascend, I got real tired real quick of all the scolding that went on. I hate forums where you have to think twice before posting lest you get flamed or attacked. Not that I got attacked, but the noobies were getting it constantly....I hate that.

totally agree!!! but the knoledge is there and hey, i hacked the hell outta my ascend thanks to the help of those snide basterds.

but yes, they are assholes. but some are very nice and helpful.
 
I would like to apologize up front for the way people have behaved at MyAscend/PrepaidAndroids in the past. I totally agree with you that a lot of things should have been done better. However, this is changing. I have become an Admin on the site, and my style of management is very, VERY different from what anyone has experienced over there previously. I believe in putting members first, and treating everyone with respect, from the newest of n00bs, to the cagiest of veterans.

With that said, I don't believe in trying to steal members, but I will encourage any of you who are willing to give it a second chance to take one more look at the site, as I have done a massive realignment of the forums, and am working on other changes as well. I have the greatest respect for Phandroid, and have been quite active in the Ascend section of its forums until recently, due to my new leadership position and all that it entails.

If you want a secondary source of info, you are more than welcome, and you are encouraged to speak to me directly if you have any issues. I have 5+ years of experience in running forums and torrent sites, so rest assured that I am not doing this for kicks or for the status, it's all about the community for me. My only goal is that PPA can one day become a site that earns a nod as a good place to be, and Phandroid is certainly one of the sites I look upon as being very good at what it does, and thus deserving of its good reputation.

Dude blast! Ur admin now?! Thats awesome! Yeah im still surfing around over there and really wish we had help from people on ppa with this device!
 
Sounds like maybe someone who has an account over there should post a link to our bounty thread here... hint, hint ;)
