Why put your logo on a phone if you are trying to conceal it from the public? People will think it's a cheap no name phone or Chinese...LOL


If you look closely at the screen of the phone it has the silhouette of another phone like someone took a picture of it very close up. If it was a render, why would that be in there?

When someone found the new version of the iPhone in a bar years ago, did it have Apple written all over it?

I was wrong, there is a logo on the bottom front. There does seem to he a reflection on the screen

LOL, you have great vision if you can see an HTC logo on that phone. I can't see it at all. I'm getting old.

No, you were right. Shouldn't have questioned your expertise. Jermaine at AndroidJS created that render I posted after further research on my part.

I certainly don't have any expertise. I'm surprised you were able to track down the artist :).

At the least, I wish we knew how many devices were being unveiled.

Let's hope we are pleasantly surprised March 1st!
 
If that is the M9, the power button placement as mentioned in the video is horrible. I hold the phone right there & the fact that it is raised so far would lead to a lot of accidental presses. Even on the top it is recessed with the M8. Hoping this isn't the phone and it's just a troll.

One of the units previously identified as a decoy, and in most of the so-called leaks since have put it there.

I've been complaining about it all along. I either have a finger or piece of hand there and it would definitely disagree with holsters I've used before.

That last part can be designed around but not how I hold my phone lol.

If true, I'll be needing a case that recesses it.

Silly.
 
My theory is this leaked phone is the m9. The redisgned (evleaks) phone is the m9 plus. The plus is the phone with a 5.2" screen, new design, and fingerprint scanner. No m9 plus max or whatever you want to call it.

That video looks legit. Because the guy is standing next to a nice looking pool. I've never been to Spain, but he looks like he is in the country.

On another forum and on YouTube people are not happy. The damage has been done if this is legitimate. Why upgrade your M8 unless you are a photographer?

Better processor/more RAM/DOLBY Sound/presumably better battery life/Got a devil on both shoulders telling me to BUY BUY BUY................... :D
 
Don't overlook the distinct possibility of a full millimeter reduction in height.

THAT ought to put all of the bezelicious comments to shame!

And if they brought back capacitive buttons (and that ain't happening) and included all three this time, then that 5" would be a real estate gain.
 
The motto for HTC should be, "Let them stare, then boo the hell out of us as they walk away in despair." HTC accomplished their goal of wanting us to stop and stare. People are staring all right HTC. Staring and saying WTH?

Can anyone tell the difference in the phones laying on the table? They look the same. I have the M7/M8 and now the M9 looks the same. Fail.....

Someone had a valid argument. If you are looking to upgrade as a non techie, why buy the M9 when you can get an M8? They look the same but one is cheaper.

Lol, I may not make it that far. Because my M8 will literally be thrown into my tv set once the announcement is made tomorrow by HTC. If HTC calls that the new M9. I will have to go back to using my M7 because my M8 will be broken.
