President Donald Trump...

It's like this: We can approve or disapprove with our new POTUS, but either way we should still keep our heads on Str8 in the process so we can make informed decisions.. If we decide that he's doin' a bad job, vote him out in a few yrs. I'm just excessively grateful it isn't the HildeBeast in that office. We might not like what he says but at least we can take most of his words at face value, unlike his Democratic opponent. I'd rather deal with a jerk who is blunt than a habitual/pathological liar who never follows thru.. I can honestly say I have mixed & differing opinions on certain policies in action but I truly believe We the People saved ourselves from much worse with the election results. So if you're complaining about inconsequential BS, you've really missed the bigger picture..

Quote.. for awesome example of .... "alternative facts"
so full of WTF

I wonder if Americans are prepared for price rises due to this isolationist policy. Over here, the price of coffee has already gone up following a weakening of the pound after Brexit.
It's gonna be interesting folks.

What scares me the most is the irreparable damage he will do the world at large. Be it environmental, political or financial. I don't give two rosy $hi*s what he says, I care what he does and is already doing. He's specifically targeting things and people should take notice. NPS, EPA, FDA, he's going to put a stop to the little people whining about things like clean air and water and safe food to eat, all the while cutting us off from outside assistance. If you're not, at the very least, concerned you're not paying attention or just don't care.

Charlie from Open Rights Group writes, "'I have made it clear in my campaign that I would support and endorse the use of enhanced interrogation techniques.' - Donald Trump, 15/2/2016."

"President Trump now has unrivalled access to data collected by UK intelligence agencies. And thanks to the UK's Investigatory Powers Act, the UK is collecting huge amounts of data about all our lives in Britain and around the world - in bulk. Trump has threatened to use torture, ban Muslims from entering the US, and expand use of the death penalty. He plans to ban most refugees and suspend visas for people coming from majority-Muslim countries. The Investigatory Powers Act is a careless law, passed by MPs who didn't consider future abuse. We can't let Trump use our data to strip away basic liberties. Can the UK really continue listening in on our lives and putting the data in Trump's hands to use as he likes?

Why such abhorrence of the Muslim banning? If their very doctrines and ideological texts didn't promote rape, murder, destruction of everyone and everything they did & didn't control, THE BAN WOULDN'T BE NEEEDED or even brought up as a concern! Putting the brakes on the terrorists entering the country is known as "Safety Precautions". That's probably the best thing he could do besides being a staunch 2nd amendment supporter, at this time.
Should he have access to UK's information? Hell no, he doesn't run the UK.. (Why does he even get that info anyway?) [emoji41]

The problem with banning Muslims is that Islam is a religion not a political entity like a country. Islam is practiced all over the world. Are Muslims from England going to be banned? How about French Guiana? New Zealand? Germany? Kazakhstan? Anywho...

President Trump is funding the wall by de-funding sanctuary cities in the US.
I'm loving that the newly elected President is an Android Phanboy!

Whatever is the standard procedure for someone using a non secure email system.

(I can't believe that this issue hasn't come up anywhere before)
Does this mean we should all shout "Emails! Emails!" in answer to any question or story now? I mean.... #sauce #goose #gander

He'll fry for that because he's a Republican.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean.... Would you be so kind as to elaborate on that?

Certainly in the campaign Mr Trump was very clear about the need for good cyber security and did explain that he had the best people.... So it seems unlikely that he'd allow negligence when it comes to personal devices.

Is he using it for official use? It doesn't sound like he is, so what's the problem?

He's the president of the United States... So surely his security is of paramount concern 24 hours a day. And that includes his cyber security.

You leftists are something else...where were the complaints when hillary was doing much worse? And yes, he is the President of the United States.

Which leftists are you talking to?

Mr Trump made good cyber security part of his campaign... His mandate is based on it... Many people were swayed by his position that bad security was a threat to America... Some of them even made that argument here on this forum.

So, the argument that someone did things worse in the past can't be a reason for not doing things better now.
