pressure points on screen.

i bought a droid x for 40 bucks off of my friend and there is a pressure point were every time i press it makes a spot in the lcd and goes away any way of getting rid of them heres the screen its a little bit cracked. but hell for 40 dollars not bad. http://tinypic.com/r/qstlqv/6
 
It probably has the original battery. After two years the battery in my DX started to swell and caused exactly what you are describing. Inspect the battery. Most of the time you can look at it edge on and see the swelling. Purchasing a new battery will fix the issue and greatly increase your battery life. My DX had gone from about 18 hours a day to 10 hours when the battery started to swell.

thanks for the tip ill probably invest in one. im getting this phone tomorrow but i got a chance to play with it. is there any really good roms i should flash when i get it?
 
I liked the Apex ROM, but I know many people swore by Liberty ROM. I tried some of the ICS ROMS and they were great except I had battery reporting issues with them. Even thou the DX has a locked bootloader, it had a great selection of ROMs. Enjoy!
