So I was trying to root and install Serendipity7 2.3, which I successfully did; however the problem is that I set my LauncherPro (which I suppose was leftover from my previous ROM) to default. Now it keeps crashing whenever I attempt to enter the home screen which means I literally can't access anything essential(i.e. settings, app market). I can only see the lock screen and sometimes can get into contacts/messages.
The other two problems I'm having is that I can't enter Download Mode because whenever I try the Vol -/+ plug in USB trick, all I see is the battery charging logo. I can't enter adb shell either because I can't enable "USB debugging" since I can't access settings.
I can enter recovery mode, but I can't select anything. The power button doesn't server as the "OK" function. I did some research and I believe that the current ROM has a the "OK" function set for something else, like a the keyboard okay button or something.
IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS ON WHAT TO DO PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I was looking into the jig USB but i'd like to explore other options since I don't even think that would work and it costs time/resources. Thanks!!!
