Help previous apps keep re-opening

Hi all,

Just got a Droid Global after playing around with it for a while i notice that any previous app i was running keeps re-opening.

I do not even have enough time to go into settings before they start to open up again.

If I had voice commands open then quickly open the browser then try to go back to the homescreen after 2 seconds it re-opens the browser sometimes it re-opens the voice commands.

anyone have any ideas about this?

If I reboot the phone and leave it on the homescreen the homescreen keeps refreshing over and over I still don't have enough time before it refreshes back to homescreen
