Previous Droid 3 owners?

Are any of you new Razr owners previous Droid 3 owners? I had the Droid 3 and it's the primary reason that I am hesitating over the Razr. The camera was terrible, and I found the phone to be pretty buggy overall. I experienced spontaneous restarts, false battery stats, lag, not very responsive screen (required more than one tap to open programs at times), etc. I swore I'd never get another Motorola, but after playing with the Razr at the Verizon store, I'm really tempted.

I'd love to hear comments from previous Droid 3 users.

I still have my D3, since handy for overseas trips and a nice back up. My D3 is rooted with bloat frozen and using Launcher Pro, so none of the issues you mention, expert for an occasional reboot.

If you like a keyboard, you might want to wait for the D4, since similar hardware and design of the Razr.

Ok - but I will not be rooting, but may use an alternate launcher - either LP or Go. Could you comment on how the stock Razr compares to the stock D3?

I came from a Droid 1. Having mostly Motorola phones for the past few years and having random problems with them, mainly dust getting in behind the screen and rendering it useless I also have sworn off of Motorola phones. But yet every time I find myself with another because they appeal to me the most... fail I know.

So far I love my Razr, just crossing fingers for no dust in this screen too.
