Print to pdf?

When shopping online, or checking into a flight online, I like to be able to save the receipt screen (or boarding pass screen) to a pdf, so i can easily access it later or print it off. This is easy to do on a laptop with cutepdf or similar.

is there any way to "print to pdf" on an android phone? Or to put it in other words, is there any way to save a webpage as a pdf, so it can be opened again later (and look exactly the same)?

Thanks,

I found something. It's "good enough".

Dolphin HD browser has an addon called "Screen Cut", which takes a screenshot and saves it to a jpg file. The resolution isn't as good as a real "print" to pdf, but good enough as a record of receipts and boarding passes i guess.

I wanted to bump this thread because I'm looking for something that'll allow me to print secure (https) sites to pdf, and the few pdf writers that I've found seem to not allow for this.

Does anyone have an app that will let you print a pdf from a secure website (online order/payment confirmations)? I'm not looking for something that'll save it as a jpg or different file type, just pdf.

Thanks!

This is what I do. I use "Screen Shot It" to take a snap shot of the page. Then I use "Camscanner Pro" to convert it to a PDF. It works really well. It can take any document and convert it to PDF as well.

And that'll do the whole page, right? Not just what's on the screen?

If you are reffering to Screen Shot IT, it will only take a snap shot of what's on the screen. I haven't tried this yet but will after my phone is done charging and will report back on the quality.

I was used to use 'Web2PDF' but now I tried 'Web Snapshot', its UI is better :)

I can choose the screen sight of the page or automatically the whole page to convert to PDF.
And I converted successfully a (whole) https page to PDF :)

Very cool, thanks! The biggest reason I'm curious is I'm thinking about replacing my laptop with a tablet, and this was one of the few things I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do.

Ok. I tried using screen shot IT to take a snap shot of the entire web page and then used camscanner pro to convert it to PDF. It worked like a charm. With screen shot IT, you can crop too, in case you don't need the entire web page.

Good to know! Do you just take the screen shot and then print it as a pdf in basically one step, or do you have to save the screen shot, then open it and convert?

You have to save it. Go into the Camscanner Pro app and select it from there. So, it takes three steps. Snap it, save it then convert it. :D
