Help Private mode access is gone!!!

I have no idea what happened but I can no longer access private mode from the pull down menu...it just disappeared! I can go to settings and search for private mode and turn it on that way, but just all of the sudden I can't do it normally

I've included a pic of the full list of quick access icons I have...anyone else have this problem?

You won't be able to add it to the icon list on pull down menu, but if yo hit the gear icon at top, you can add private mode to "quick Settings" menu. Simply hit "edit", then check the box for private mode. Now it has been added to quick settings. So you now have only 1 extra step to access private mode. Hope this helps.

There are 15 icons available for the pull down menu. Only 10 across can be displayed at any time. To edit the 10 icons from the 15 available, hit the "pencil" icon. Private Mode is not(at least on my phone) available among the 15 choices.

I know, it used to be the last icon on the drop down menu I used, but now it's not even accessible period...

It's certaintly not a deal breaker to have to hit 1 more link. Look at the positive....
You have a great phone and it's fun exploring what you can do with it. I had a similar situation. No flashlight option from pull down menu. Then one day it appeared. One thing I know. I have had S6 from ATT and Sprint, and there are some differences in the menus. Just enjoy your phone and don't worry too much.
 
Excuse me, but I did not tell you to "shut up". I was merely trying to help you. I do, however, have a good suggestion for you. Be thankful that you have a forum where members try and answer questions/problems that other members post. Try and be kind and humble and trust that we are all here to help each other. I also look forward to another member here being able to help me when I have an issue with my phone.

I found several articles online outside of this forum and apparently 3 previous settings have disappeared suddenly after an update that was done in the background without user authorization or notification.

I understand sometimes we get frustrated. Let's not take it out on the folks trying to lend a hand. Everyone here, and I mean everyone, myself and the rest of the moderators included, are helping out voluntarily and doing the best we can to help a buddy out.:)
