Root PRL questions.

I am on the stock PRL 61007. Could anyone tell me if there would be any benefit to changing it? If there is a possibility of it helping could anyone link me to a thread for dummies about changing prl?
 
All I know about PRL is that when you update it you need to do the PRL first followed by the profile. I will try to direct some people here to assist you further.

there is one on page 2,3,4. i don't mess with them others do, mine seems ok some will say it helps and others keep searching so might not really help.
 
I have seen improvement in 3g speed and signal by switching my prl. Look through the all things root section. There are quite a few threads on the subject.

I was using 12121 but decided to give the Boost stock prl a try again for the hell of it since they've done some work on the tower in my area. When I first got the phone it was running 61007. I updated the prl not to long ago and Boost has changed the prl to 61008. That is what I'm running ATM and it's doing well. :D

i'm still on the 61007,that came with phone. and have had no problems with mine except for a short time when they were working on towers i guess. only have some bad areas here and there but evryone does even all carriers, just some dead zones i guess.

i used that for a little bit wasn't to bad did a lot better then the 07 one i am on 87 right now i get a little m more signal just takes a little longer for calls to go through
 
im on 12123 and its running great. Good service and good speeds. Im not going to change it . Dont fix whats not broken. Or i might update it to something newer if available
