Problem adding picture to text file MMS

[smracer]

Hello, I am having a problem attaching a picture to my text file. When I select the picture it say converting to MultiMedia and then times out on the sending process and nothing goes through. No problem with just text message with no attachment. I also found that I have a lot of MMS messages that need to be cleared and I don't know how to do that. Any help is appreciated. Thx

Welcome to the site!

Is your mobile data turned on? Sending MMS/pictures requires a data connection.

You could also try using another app, Textra is a good option:

Also make sure you have the APN settings... When I first switched to my current carrier they did some kind of "auto setup" and built the APNs, but for some reason everything worked except MMS. Digging into it I found out the APN they set on my device didn't include the APN type "mms" in any entry.
