Help Problem after Problem with S3

Appreciate your help. My model number is GT-I9300 carrier EE. I already have Odin installed from when Mikestony pointed me in the right direction to get phone out of factory mode.
Sorry - don't know how to move this into root section (or should I start a new thread?)

see that sign above this post here look for that symbol on the left side in red and white when you see a moderator and explain to that mod that you would like to have this section moved to root but im sure it may not be moved
for that it has to much in here explaining on how to other things that may not be suitable for root

my suggestion would be to open new thread under root in the section for your phone I would suggest a link but I don't know who EE provider is under..

again jaid40 thank you for being a good sport about everything try to hang in there as for I know how frustrating it can be at times we all do at 1 point or another get stumped.

I am also not sure who EE is, but the model number is for the international version (I believe). So op would want to go there (not sure if international or LTE international). I cant say for sure if thats right though..

Here is an awesome list of root sections for this phone.

  1. Sprint/Cricket
  2. AT&T
  3. Boost mobile
  4. Cricket
  5. International
  6. MetroPC/CDMA
  7. MetroPCS/GSM
  8. T-Mobile
  9. US Celluar
  10. Verizon
  11. Virgin Mobile
  12. S3 4G LTE International

Just a quick update. I was very careful and found the correct firmware for my phone (it was the international hatredg0d), and managed to flash to my phone using odin. Odin said it had worked correctly but my phone is in exactly the same state i.e. not able to connect to network.
I have been into town today and bought a very cheap sim free mobile which I am using for phone calls/texts and also carrying about my samsung for emails! Needed to do this as I am going on holiday "woo hoo" and don't have anymore time to look into this until I get back.
I notice you have very kindly put up some instructions jaymzway - I will come back to these when I am back if you don't mind. I really need to get some packing done!!
Thank you for all your help guys.

May be best sending it off to Samsung unless you're prepared to go down the rabbit hole. Had this issue with a stock unrooted Note 2 after an OTA and as it wasn't my phone I just advised Samsung sort it (I had a look and spent a lot of time trying to sort it beforehand but the EFS was gone)
