Help Problem after ringing engaged number

Hi all
I noticed a problem last night, my phone is set to turn off the screen when I make a call, so I unlocked my phone rang a number and it was engaged, after a few seconds the phone then returned to the lock screen, instead of staying unlocked, I tested it again with the same results, so I changed the setting to keep the screen switched on when I made a call, this time after the engaged tone finished it stayed unlocked! Set it back to normal and back to the lock screen it went, has anyone else had this problem or can someone check it for me

Yes, mine does that too. Not big problem but not helpful..

My S3 did that too. If I moved it away from my ear quick enough and the proximity sensor reacted and lit the display again, it would prevent it from locking again though.

Its a pain, especially as you have to keep unlocking it, also wish there was an auto redial option

Auto redial would be good! What I did most of the time was just hold it in my hand and ring then press redial when it said busy. Saved it from locking and the quickest way to try the number again

Do not have my Note yet {Verizon you are killing me!} but sounds like security is set to lock the device immediately... So when the screen dims, it locks. Can you check that in settings?

In my "additional settings" there is no auto redial. Maybe it's somewhere else. Will have to dig around more.

No its not set to lock immediately, its set to lock after 5 minutes of no use.

Thats very strange, mine is carrier unlocked in the UK and here is my settings...
