Help Problem after shut down

Hello. My problem is that i've shut down my phone and i've ejected the battery before the phone vibrated for complete shut down. when i powered it on the home screens were back to factory set and a lot of apps are crushing during start up and all settings are back to factory set too. all the apps are intact but it looks like some are malfunctioning.
Phone is rooted and running android 2.2.1
is there anything i can't do beside a factory reset.

i've tried that several times with extreme patient ;p and nothing happened
