Problem - Bell phone roaming on Rogers

Hello! I am an iphone user who has now converted to a Samsung Nexus S - so I'm new to Android. My phone account is with Bell, I have a Bell SIM card, but the inexperienced sales guy sold me a Koodu phone instead of a Bell phone, and now my data is roaming on Rogers. My APN shows Bell, but with Data Roaming off, I do not get internet access from my phone. I do get cell phone calls though. Bell cannot help me because they have not released the Nexus S. The technical support guy suggested that I do a factory reset, but it didn't work. I'm screwed.

The phone is apparently the only one in Canada that is unlocked across mobile companies, but no one can help me with this roaming issue.

Can someone recommend how to change my phone programming to not roam on Rogers and recognize the Bell SIM card?

I would consider myself an intermediate level PC user, so I'm able to find my way around, do registry edits, etc, if I can get the right instructions.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer. I know I'm not the only one with this issue but I have not found an answer that I can follow.
