Help Problem connecting to mobile data with unlocked i537 on T-Mobile

I have the I537 unlocked and I'm using it on T-mobile.

It's being very sporadic, it only wants to work when it wants to. Like right now, I'm getting 4G LTE, but a few minutes ago it wouldn't even connect. I was out earlier, and the entire time I had no data connecting whatsoever, and when I can get data, it seems to only want to connect to edge.

I just upgraded from the S2, it was the T-mobile version and I never had any trouble getting a good 4G signal or any data problems around where I live whatsoever. When I looked at the specs, it looked like they had the same radio bands plus, so I figured I should be getting the same results as with my last phone.

I've set the Network Operator to manual and set it to T-Mobile, I've checked the APN and it looks to be what it's supposed to according to others (on the epc.tmobile.com . Mobile Data is definitely ticked. I can still make calls and text, just won't connect to data.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I tried changing the apn as I've seen around that it might help, so I'm using the fast.tmobile or whatever now. It does seem to have helped, but now it seems like everywhere that I would have had 4g on my s2, I'm only getting edge now. Like right in the middle of the city, where I use to have the best service, I can't get 4g until leaving that area.

The phone was a gift from my girlfriend, I love the phone, the last thing I want to do is have to send it back. Any help at all about the situation would be awesome.

My last phone was the t989 if that helps any at all.
