Help problem connecting to mobile network

i have some problem connecting to my mobile network. i try to manually unchecked and checked the mobile network, i still unable to connect to my mobile network. i have no problem doing the same thing for wireless connection.

anybody faced this problem before.? i do not wish to constantly restart my phone to get it activated.

I too have the same problem, I faced the same issue on my Nexus S with 2.3.4 and 4.0.4 OS. Does any one know a solution to resolve this problem?
