Help [problem]device in USB Debugging mode cannot detected...

hello i am newbie in here and i want to ask a question... i want to rooting my android but when my phone in debugging mode my pc cannot detect it... but if i am not in debugging mode my pc can detect it... can anyone answer my question ???
