Problem downloading US specific apps

Hey

I own a galaxy S3. I bought it from India. It currently runs on 4.0.
Now that i have moved to US, i tried downloading US specific apps such as Google Music,Books, Yelp and others but its said that my device is incompatible as these apps are not available in my country. I am using Wifi.

Help me out please !

Thanks
S

OP are you in the US? US specific apps probably won't work, e.g. Google Books, Google Music, Kindle, Pandora, Netflix, etc. if you're not in the States, because of the non-USA IP address.

I've found UK only apps don't work in China. like BBC iPlayer, even though I had a UK purchased phone.

ya i am in US only, but i am still using my india sim registered on AT&T here. But since things are on Wifi how does it matter, i mean on an US IP

Ahhh ok the India SIM might be the issue, even though your wifi is logging an US ip.

ok then i will try with US sim and see if it works. Thanks everyone. Will come back if it doesn't work even after that

Why so much trouble, you should have rooted and just used Market Enabler ... works just fine because it actually spoofs your SIM to be any country-specific you want !
