Problem in accessing online apps

My phone is sony ericsson live with walkman.... android version 2.3.4 ...... the problem is I can't access any of the online apps not even playstore.... from the time I bought it I would use net and everything was ok... but there was a gap of 3 months when I didn't use net on my phone due to exam .... but when I started to use again to my surprise I got I can't access the online apps....so this is something like I am cut off from the world! I can't access gmail or anything that requires internet.....but I can browse net with opera or other browsers so there is no problem in connection.....any help will be greatly appreciated and I need it...plz

Welcome to the forums!

Have you tried rebooting your device? Otherwise you could try side loading the playstore, you can typically find a download for it by just searching Gapps in google.

After getting the problem I think I have rebooted it at least 10 times so far.I downgraded playstore to market and also tried deleting cache. Then I installed playstore again . But I have said the problem is with the all online apps not only with the playstore. My phone is not rooted. When I understood I can't resolve the prob then I registered here ! So I believe I will get help from here.
