Help Problem in adding and editing contacts in androd.

[Android Problem]

I have a prblem in my micromax mobile(Canvas A63,Android 4.2.2).Last week I noted a problem in adding new contacts as it showed"No Application Found For This Action".I can't edit any contact either.I have another app for contacts because standard one was deleted mistakenly.
what should I do now ? please give suggestions.Thanks.

So did the problem start when you deleted the standard one? And actually how did you do that: that should require root before you can do it.

The best is probably to try to restore your original app. If you used a root backup tool at any point (Titanium Backup for example) or made a nand backup then just restore. Otherwise if you can reflash the phone with a new set of software (custom if rooted, official otherwise) that would do it. I incidentally have no experience of Micromax devices, so don't know how to reflash one of those.

You could try other contacts or dialer apps to see whether you can find one which can edit your contacts database. It may depend on what exactly you deleted.
