My running stock 1.6 from is having problems booting up.
When you turn it on you get the LG Logo, followed by the LG anim and then it powers off..
I've tried it with and without the SD card and sim
Any ideas ?? I can take it back to carphone warehouse as it's less than a year old, but is there any thing else I can try first ?

You could try a hard factory reset, which is usually accomplished by a specific combination of keys at boot, but we'd need to know the model phone you have to know what that combination is. It would be best to ask that in the section for your specific phone model, so you are sure you have the right information.
