Help Problem installing APKs from SD? [Issue resolved by factory reset]

Hi All!

Just received my new Evo 3D and absolutely love it! After a while of playing around I tried installing the 'Amaze Camera Mod' from an .apk, as my phone is unrooted. At first the package installer was unresponsive so I tired rebooting, and made sure 'Install From Unknown Sources' was checked in settings. this worked for two installs (trying both versions of the mod). However, I seem to be back at square one. When I attempt to install from the SD (eg.Amazon AppStore App) the package installer opens but the install button won't respond.

Any ideas or am I missing something obvious?

i had this happen after i used the rom liquid smooth on my DX just would not install like i was not touching where the install was, i had to flash another rom to
get it to work. I suggest you get the SBF to the phone but first try a factory
reset. could be bad hardware yet it was working??? and my DX did and does now so i suggest that

Thanks for the reply ZeroOne. Yeah, the whole working/not working thing got me stumped. I'll give the factory reset a go and see if it makes a difference.

Seriously tempted to root, however having just moved over from an iPhone the Android process seems pretty daunting..

Tried a reset and it worked!
