Root Problem installing Clockwork Recovery

Hi,

Just got a new San Francisco Blade and am trying to install clockwork recovery however when i switch the phone off, remove battery and switch back on holding the + volume key (hold for at least 5 seconds), I cant get the green android logo to stay. The phone boots up as normal.

Never had this problem before with previous San Francisco phones. Anyone out there able to help please.

Sometimes the specifics on this sort of thing varies by model, so I've moved your post to the forum where others with the same phone may be able to advise you on this.

Are you trying to boot into recovery? If so, hold the vol down key instead.

Do you have recovery installed yet, or are you trying to install?

Are you rooted, If not Universal Androot.....search Internet....

Check if you are rooted....Root Checker

Have you tried Rom Manager?

If not, d/l from Market, and install CWR 3.0.1.4, I think it was about the last GEN1...... if you are GEN1 phone.

If you don't know try Mr Pigfish, he will tell you.....

Also, your phone is probably a OUK_P729BV1.0.0B10 version.....fastboot was disabled....but think Vol+ and Menu when powering up may work....if you really need to

With CWR installed, you should boot into recovery by holding Vol- and Power....

But, try Quick Boot, for easy access to Recovery.....

Hope above helps :D
