Root Problem Loading CWM

I am still a noob at this, but have just loved rooting and learning about this from all of the helpful people here!

So, I am running Brilliant Corners, but want to try out HC. I have always held the + volume and power to start CWM, but now when I do that, it states recovery key detected, booting recovery kernal image, but it just hangs there.

I assume I have messed up the CWM that I had installed previously? Can I just find the instructions here and reinstall it?

I am still a little nervous about bricking.

Thanks!

When I had this tab, the first thing I did was read a LOT. To get HC you're going to have to learn how to use NVFlash, so you can upgrade to 1.2 stock branch, flash the updated CWM then get HC.

This is a great site that will walk you through all the steps necessary to get HC on your tab.

I think Brilliant Corners has a fix recovery script. Download terminal emulator from the market then follow these instructions. This should fix your CWM....I hope.

1.2-Based Recovery Pack

I have included a recovery pack in this release in case you install clockworkmod (see below) and need to backout to standard recovery (or vice versa). To do this, either use adb or a Terminal Emulator, then type "su" and then this:

fixrecovery.sh (this adds back standard recovery)

cwmrecovery.sh (this adds clockworkmod v3.0.2.8 recovery)

So, does that mean that I can't just follow the normal instructions as if I am installing CWM for the first time?
