How To Problem loading widget..

Hey guys, I just got my Motorola Droid today and I LOVE it!! However, I had downloaded the CNN widget, put it on my left side home screen. I decided I didn't like the widget and deleted it. My problem is that where the widget was before is now a box that says problem loading widget -- even though the widget is no longer on my phone. How can I remove that box??

When you say deleted it, do you mean you uninstalled the actual app that put the widget in your system?

If so, then you must manually remove the widget from the desktop - but that is easy enough.

tap and hold the box, until you feel the phone vibrate and the icon at the bottom that pulls up to list your apps turns into a trash can - then drag the box to the trash can until your finger is over the trash can and release.
