Help Problem making and receiving calls

Hi,

Has anyone had this problem? On my wife's Revolution she sometimes cannot make a call; when she does it just says dialing and when I call her; the phone does not ring on her end. Ringtone volume is all the way up. The call just goes to voice mail and the call does not show up in her call log. She has to restart her phone in order to make and receive calls. This happened once yesterday and today.

This is my wife's 2nd Revolution. The first started getting really hot.

Any ideas outside of getting another Rev?

Hey mac, I've never had this problem with my Revo, but I will say at times I'll get a call but won't be able to answer it for a short while. Haven't missed any or been unable to make calls.

Are you calling over the 4G network? How's your reception.

In response to the phone getting hot, the only time I noticed this problem was when using the phone while it was charging.

I had a similar problem while I was using the power managing app "JuiceDefender". It either turned off the radios so well they wouldn't respond to incoming calls, or I messed something up while trying to customize the settings. I ended up uninstalling it. - MarkC

This is the problem I have occasionally. My screen will be black and I might miss the call because no answer buttons show up. I have noticed on 4G (recently upgraded in my area) my phone will say that I'm on 4G but my browser cannot connect to the internet. I wonder if someone tried to call me at that time if my phone would respond or not??? The only way I could fix it was to reboot. Maybe the same issue?

Yeah I'm getting the black screen like you're saying. It usually happens in bunches, then won't affect me for a few days.

My phone's always roaming, and I'm in a 4G city. What gives! Haha

Yeah... I had similar problem- incoming call- rings and even the caller ID shows up but no answer button. Finally had to reboot. My phone is just 6 weeks old.


Does any one removed batteries and put them back periodically?

I had that problem today twice, when phone would ring it would be black and I couldn't answer it. Now what do we do??
