Help Problem messaging on WiFi

LakersDroid

Android Expert
When I'm just on WiFi alone (data toggle turned off), and then using the preinstalled native messaging app on this phone I can't send nor receive any text messages. It says I get an error code 64, class 2 Radio Interference Resource Shortage.

Messaging using facebook app is fine though. Is there anyway to fix this?

Go into Settings >System Updates >HTC Software updates. Run it and see if a system update becomes available...Should be 14.xxMB in size...If it does pop up download it....It's the big update release that fixes the radio problems.

I just happen to have the update version in my netbooks clipboard at the moment ;) If you go to settings, about phone, software info., more, basband ver should be 1.09.00.0706 once updated. The update takes over the phone and restarts it, so you will know when it's complete.
