Problem on Epic 4G (Media Scanner I think) please help

Hey guys, All was well and then an update came out on my Epic 4G. Now the media scanner seems to go much faster and no program on my phone thinks i have albums on it. But I have tons of mp3s on it. Nothing has changed at all. But the phone will no longer recognize these folders of albums.

What can I do about this? The updates seem to come with so many little problems that i have to learn.

try putting the files in the appropriate folders - then do a reboot -

Music/ - Media scanner classifies all media found here as user music.
Podcasts/ - Media scanner classifies all media found here as a podcast.
Ringtones/ - Media scanner classifies all media found here as a ringtone.
Alarms/ - Media scanner classifies all media found here as an alarm sound.
Notifications/ - Media scanner classifies all media found here as a notification sound.
Pictures/ - All photos (excluding those taken with the camera).
Movies/ - All movies (excluding those taken with the camcorder).
Download/ - Miscellaneous downloads.

What exactly is the music folder verbatim? This all used to work fine before but all of a sudden it does not. So thats the funky part.

I'm sorry sir but obviously i'm keeping my music in a folder called "Music" but your not being direct. I need full instructions verbatim. For instance is it ok to have folders under Music such as "Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power"

Where does this Music folder go? does that matter at all?

It used to work fine but no longer does.
