Problem on setting vpn in ICS

[Arashdn]

Hi,

I have a problem on ICS , when I want to setup a VPN connection I must use a pattern or pin for lock screen .
Is there any way to use vpn with out setting any pattern or pin for lock screen ?

I'm using cyanogen mod 9 on galaxy s 2 .

Thanks in advance .
