Welcome to the forums! 
I'm not sure the Pulse will support moving the apps to the SD Card out of the box. Is it still on Android 2.1? There are probably ways to install 2.2 (which supports Apps2SD) If you head over to the Pulse subforum, they may be able to assist: T-Mobile Pulse - Android Forums
