Hoping this is the right place for this thread - I'm new to the forum.
In a sleep-deprived haze due to my 18-day old newborn eating all my braincells, I accidentally pressed something on my HTC Desire that made it re-download swype. This caused a problem as once downloaded the verification never completed. So I uninstalled swype, planning to simply reinstall it. And here is the problem.
I entered my email and password to be told it didn't recognise them. So I tried entering them as a new account, to be told that an account with that email address already existed (so why didn't it recognise the account?). So I asked it to send me an email to reset my password, which it did. I clicked on the link in the email and got taken back to swype beta for a password reset. When I clicked submit, the screen returned to my email app and nothing else happened. There was no confirmation that my password had been reset, and I still can't login. When I try to reset the password again I get the same blank email screen. Help, I'm stuck in the middle of this little circle.
