Today I called o2 with a serious fault with my phone. I am unable to recieve calls from Voadfone customers after my number was ported to O2 from talkmobile. When a vodafone user phones me they cannot connect and their phone says 'number not in use'. Now any other network calling me they do not have any problems connecting.
The O2 adviser was not interested in helping and told me to contact Vodafone, with whom I am not a customer. I actually have spoken to Vodafone and Talkmobile both of whom have been helpful but stressed as an O2 customer you should be sorting my fault.
Anyway I was wondering if rooting my phone could in any way have caused such an error?
