Root Problem Rooting HTC Wildfire S

I've managed to unlock bootloader on my htc wildfire s using the tutorial at htcdev.com and used HTC Super Tool to root it, well at least it tells me I have but apps such as Titanium Backup and Root Manager tell me my phone isn't rooted.

I've also tried rooting with UnlockRoot and SuperOneClick but I got errors and they were unsuccessful.

I moved your thread here so others with your device an help.
I may not know much about the HTC Super Tool, but you may need the superuser .zip along with the superuser app.....not sure tho.
I hope you get your issue resolved tho

I've tried the superuser app with no success, I read that the zip should already be on the phone, I'm not sure but thanks anyway.

Unlocking is just one step of rooting. After that, like you have tried, you need to use SuperTool. But there are other ways too if it doesn't work. Like the OP said in that thread, more and more phones somehow don't accept that way of rooting anymore
