Root Problem rooting, installed AmonRa

First I got back to stock by RUU-ing through adb. Back to 4.0.3, PH98IMG_ICS_4.03.605.2 after locking the bootloader.
Unlocked the bootloader back.
Then I installed AmonRa recovery.
Booted, completed the setup and went back to recovery and selected the from from Dev's menu, "Install superuser and su".

The Superuser app is installed.

Checked with the root checker, and its saying unrooted.

What am I doing wrong?

I would download supersu,and flash it in recovery,rather than using the dev menu option to install its built in superuser,wich is likely outdated.
