I have a note 2 i317m from koodo and I had it unlocked and the frequency added for wind I pop my sim card in and it only connects to roaming pop a mobili city sim card in and works the frequency are the same so why won't it work please help thanks in advance
 
Which network does it connect to when you put your SIM in? If it is your network then it's just the roaming indicator is incorrect. If not, can you see your network if you do a scan of available networks?

If it cannot connect to your network are you certain the frequency bands are the same? Phones support multiple bands, so if there is a band used by one network but not the other it may be using that (I don't know any of these networks). I'm very suspicious of a claim that someone "added a frequency" to a phone.
 
You started by saying that it does connect to Wind, in which case is the problem just that the roaming indicator is showing even if you are connected to your own carrier? If so I'd ignore it - as long as it's connected to the carrier who provides your SIM you are not really roaming.

As for frequencies, usually there are enough hardware differences that you can't add a frequency band, but if it's enabling AWS on a handset which already supports the bands then I have heard of that before.

Unfortunately if it really isn't using Wind for your 3G and connects to another carrier instead then you may need a device specialist. We have a Galaxy Note 2 forum here, which might be a better place to find such a person: http://androidforums.com/forums/samsung-galaxy-note-2.1805/
 
Wind away is roaming on my network it will say wind if I wasn't roaming and I can't even make callswitch proves I am roaming my sim works in my moto so I know its not the sim cardi am not shire maybe he did enable it but what the guy told me is he was adding the frequency and the frequency's did add or whatever because a mobilicity sim did not work before but dose now and I can guarantee they use the saim frequency confirmed online in store and with customer service
