I'm trying to transfer files from my Android A52-5G to my Linux (Ubuntu 22.04) computer. I plug the phone into a USB port and the computer finds the phone no problem and correctly identifies it. As soon as I activate USB Tethering on the computer the phone immediately disappears from the device list. How do I transfer files from the phone to the computer?

Get KDE Connect and load it on your computer and your phone. tt works like a charm with bluetooth. I have Linux Mint on my laptop
