Hi,
I have recently cancelled my Verizon account linked to Pantech Breakout. Now I want to use it on wi-fi only.
The phone connects to wi-fi with no problem. However some applications stopped working. Facebook, and more important Google Play will not connect. But Tumblr connects and works fine.
I have read something about the problem, but was unable to find a solution. Someone suggested to change automatic date setting, but it did not work.
Anyone knows how to connect out of service Pantech to wi-fi only?
Also, I tried to root it, but cannot find appropriate driver for Windows 7 64 bit. The phone connects to PC as a hard drive, but the root procedure will not find it.
