Help Problem? Videos in YouTube application always pause/stop part way through

Videos on my new Nexus pause after about a minute, then after 30 seconds or so, start playing again for a short bit, then pause again. This is on my WIFI connection, in high quality. This repeats itself over and over, for any video played on the YouTube application. At first, I thought it was a network buffering issue, but I don't have this problem with my Razr and an iPhone 4 that are also connected to my WIFI. So it feels like a problem with the phone itself.

Anyone else having this issue? I'm going to return the phone if this issue doesn't resolve itself. I've made sure that Flash is up-to-date, have rebooted the phone, etc. Any suggestions? Does this happen on your phone?

Note that this isn't an issue when watching YouTube videos using the web browser on the Nexus.

Same exact thing with me.Its driving me crazy.I had it with wifi and even 4g.
Yep. Driving me nuts. Every single YouTube video I play over WIFI has this issue on the GNex. My Razr and an iPhone 4 don't have this issue, and play YouTube videos flawlessly.

I'll probably head into Verizon tomorrow to swap this for another. Probably should have waited a couple of months for the kinks to be worked out.

Is this definitely an issue with the phone? Even on my computer, some videos play faster than they buffer and stop and start. Usually, I just pause it to let it get ahead (or fully buffer) before watching. I tried out Youtube on my Nexus this morning using 4G but the signal wasn't that strong so when I switched to HQ video, it did the same thing, but I didn't try the pause to let it buffer trick.

My own issue turned out to be related to my WIFI, specifically my Airport Extreme router. A new version of the firmware was released by Apple, which apparently corrected some streaming issues. So, it's looking good now. Weird thing is, that this only affected my Nexus. Other devices were fine.

Go to CH Play->YouTube choose Uninstall. Done, choose Open and don't update.
It's fixed.
