problem when restoring apps

hello2

Lurker
So I did a factory reset, changed my gmail account, and restored all my apps with AppMonster Pro.
The restore when ok, all apps work fine, even though the settings of each application were not saved.

But when I go the market, none of the applications are being recognized as installed, even though they are. What can I do ?

The only way I can think of is us Titanium Backup's Market Doctor. It does exactly what you need.

That is also the reason I use TB, it restores Market links when restoring apps.

Also, not sure if you are aware, but, your installed apps are tied to your google account which was used to install those apps. That's why they aren't showing up in the Market. If you log into the market using your old account, you should see the apps as installed.

Yes, that's why I did the factory reset, to change my google account. I still want my old apps restored though.

I just used this app to backup for sgs gb - when restoring from Appmonster, it gives you a choice of backup or market - choose market and it will recognize your apps AND offer updates in future...

But if you change your gmail account it will not be able to authorize the purchase and not allow you to download the update. If you do not believe me backup an app you got via amazon with it then attach it to the market and try to update it. Because the purchases are linked to the gmail account you made them with you will need to be using that account to keep getting updates to those apps and if any apps use google DRM i.e. market check they will fail and you will be unable to use the app.
