Help problem with accessing kies

hi !
I have installed kies on my pc but wenever i try to access kies , it gives the followin error report :
" Mainstage has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvinience"
and there are two options at d bottom:
1.send error report
2.dont send
both the options dont work.
please help!

What OS are you using? And are you using the latest Kies version? (what version?)
