Problem with Android Market and Tablet

Having a problem with a new tablet we purchase and our google account we created not recognising the tablet, therefore not downloading apps from the Android Market.

Any suggestions??

P.S. Can access the internet, etc, google account we created from the tablet says no mobile no??

You have to "tweak" to get Market. Even then it might not be satisfactory. There's a post on here about apps on Getjar. You can mostly sideload those.

Plenty of posts about dealing with a "non-market" tablet. And links to other sites with info.
