Ok, before I rooted, apex launcher was telling me that in order to add widgets from the widget section of the menu, I had to be rooted. Now that I am rooted, it won't let me add widgets from with in the menu. It tells me that if super user is available I should go in and enable root helper. I can't find that in the supersu that was added when I rooted. I can add them if I'm straight on the home screen, but not from the widgets section of the menu. This wouldn't bother me, but, for some reason, I don't get all my widgets listed if I long press the home screen. Is this something others of you have run into?
I'm on my phone and at work (filling peoples caffeine addiction by making drinks at Starbucks) so can't provide a screen shay at the moment. If it's needed I'll try later on.
Edit: so I figured it out. Apex launcher wanted me to go into advanced settings of itself. I thought it wanted me to go into advanced settings of the super user app. I can now add widgets from the widgets menu of the launcher.
